Two years ago I wound up in the hospital for a few days after being sick for about a week. I had a headache, dizzyness, cold sweats, a fever of 106 and finally I couldn't move my neck due to inflammation of the spine. The doctors did a spinal tap but never determined the cause. Through some research of my own I found that I probably had "erichliosis". I only had the described rash until I was in the hospital. Anti-biotic cleared this up in a few days but it took weeks for me to feel normal. If you get these symptoms and go to the doctor insist on Anti-Biotics! I would have been better much quickly and avoided the E Room if I would have gotten Anti-Biotics when I went to Urgent Care a few days before I couldn't walk anymore.
