I’m Emily Harrington, a 28 year old professional rock climber and adventurer. I spend most of my year traveling the world climbing and exploring the mountains. Recently, I’ve visited the jungle and high alping environments of Myanmar, the wild and intimidating French alps, and spent time thousands of feet off the ground on the massive granite walls of Yosemite National Park. No matter where I am, I carry essential first aid gear with me, and I make sure I know how to use it, because being out in the field carries with it a certain level of objective risk no matter how conservative or experienced we are. It’s important to take the proper steps to be prepared in case of any accident or emergency.
I used Adventure Medical Kits products extensively on my recent trip to Mayanmar. We ecountered everything from infected insect bites, an infected bamboo stab wound, a motorcycle muffler burn, a dog bite, a broken hand, a sprained wrist, and several gastrointestinal issues.
